Creative Healing Arts

Jeanie Ruland-Matteson is the founder and Director of Creative Healing Arts.  She is a certified expressive arts therapist from the National Expressive Therapy Association.  She has a Master of Arts Degree in Music Therapy and a certificate in Expressive Arts from Immaculata Univerity.  Her Bachelor's Degree is in Psychology.  She is a certified 'DansKinetics' teacher, a dance technique from Phoenix Rising School of Movement Therapy, a Reiki Master Teacher in the Usui Reiki Tradition and is presently training in Karuna ™  Reiki

With 20 years experience as a therapist, Jeanie has uniquely combined music therapy, counseling, and Reiki in individual sessions.  She specializes in working with adults who have issues with stress, compromised energy, various health issues, and addictive patterns.  She has enhanced her natural intuitive abilities by studying the chakra energy system and Usui Reiki in depth.

Jeanie teaches and facilitates classes in expressive arts, dance/movement, Reiki, meditation, and healing with sound and voice.  She facilitates private therapy groups and is an adjunct professor at Immaculata University.
