Nancy Altman,

Associate

Originally from the United States, Nancy Altman has spent most of her adult life living, working and studying abroad. She has undergraduate degrees in French studies and business from the American University in Paris and the Sorbonne, completed certification as a TEFL instructor, has a master’s degree in art history from the University of Essex in England, and a DEA in art history from the Sorbonne (Paris IV). Her academic work focused on European emblem studies and the uses of signs and symbols – verbal and visual – as communication. During these years, she taught, tutored and gave numerous papers and exposés in the field.

Also interested in Eastern studies, Nancy has on many occasions traveled to and lived in southern India to study directly with the spiritual master, Sri Sai Kaleshwara Swami (www.kaleshwara.org). There, she became a certified instructor of Eastern meditation and ancient spiritual practices. In particular, Nancy is a certified 5 Elements™ meditation instructor.

Allison is a licensed massage therapist and energy healer with 18 years of bodywork experience. She is a graduate of The Meridian Shiatsu Institute, The Omega Bodyworks Institute, The Full Spectrum School of Healing and Self Transformation, and The Finger Lakes School of Massage.  Allison integrates many modalities into her bodywork sessions including gentle Swedish Massage, Acupressure,  and Energy Healing. Each session is guided to the clients needs. Allison has great respect for the innate healing wisdom within our own bodies and the profoundly positive effect of loving touch.  Energy healing is a gentle and safe yet powerful way to bring balance and harmony to all levels of your being. Energy healing cleanses and balances blocked or stagnant energy patterns in the body. As a result, the body’s natural self-healing mechanisms strengthen, helping to establish optimum mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health.

Merry Harsch,

Usui Reiki Master &

Animal Reiki  Practitioner

Merry is a Usui Reiki Master Practitioner and also  presently training to become a Karuna™ Reiki Master Practioner.   Animal Reiki and Communications is also a large part of her practice.

Merry provides  gentle, nurturing Reiki to animals,(and their human companions!)  By communicating with the animals to determine their needs, she can best direct the energy for reduction in anxiety and or other issues that may be occuring.  She also works in junction with their owners to facilitate a deeper understanding of their animal companions.

  Merry graduated from Eckerd College in Florida with a dual degree in business and marketing.  She also has extensive background in the arts including dance, vocal performance and instrumentals.  She has most recently worked with a harp therapy program for hospice patients in the Chester County Area.  She has also had some inital training in Aromotherapy and uses that in her practice. At Creative Healing Arts, Merry will be co-facilitating workshops, and  providing Reiki therapies.

Cyndy Paige,

"Snake Dancer"

Cyndy received the name “Snake Dancer” from Spirit in a profound Vision Quest experience. The Snake is a powerful healing metaphor in both Native American and western medicine traditions.  She is of Muscogee Creek and Choctaw heritage and is a Council member of the Buffalo Trace Society.

Every year Cyndy assists with powerful Vision Quest experiences which provide an opportunity for the natural world to guide you in your personal transformation.  She also facilitates Women's Drum Birthing Retreats, All Gender Drum Birthings, and numerous workshops and spiritual circles.

Cyndy has a private Shamanic and Sacred Sound Healing practice in Landenberg, Pennsylvania.  She is available for private retreats or workshops at wellness and retreat centers around the world, and experiential engagements at Conferences and Independent Schools.

Elizabeth Kohler-Ghiorzi,

Associate

Elizabeth is a board certified music therapist who has had the privilege of working with a wide variety of populations including Traumatic Brain Injury, Autism, Down syndrome and Cerebral Palsy. She completed her undergraduate degree in music therapy at Elizabethtown College and a Master's Degree in Music Therapy from Immaculata University. 

Elizabeth serves as web site administrator and creates and designs all of the publications for Creative Healing Arts.
